Dear distinguished delegates,
It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 2024 KISH Model United Nations as the Secretary-General. Our world faces an unprecedented crisis that is causing widespread human suffering, devastating global economy and risking reversal of hard won progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. It is a challenging task to overcome, but as members of the MUN with the means to teach effectively, I can confidently say that experience is the ultimate guide in KISH MUN, therefore, we will dedicate our time to teaching the younger delegates, instilling in them the proper strategies and a stronger, more fundamental understanding of KISH MUN’s importance and use.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our teachers, chairs, and heads for their unwavering support and consistent dedication. Your hard work and commitment have made this MUN possible. We are truly grateful for the time and effort you have invested in ensuring a successful and enriching KISH MUN. It will remain an insightful and knowledgeable experience for us.

We would also like to emphasize that we happily welcome new delegates, and your unfaltering commitment to learning and working harder is essential. Please rest assured that we are committed to providing full support, guided by our shared values. Our school MUN needs your energy, and I draw great hope from seeing your motivation and enthusiasm to address the challenges of our time and to build a healthier, more equitable and sustainable KISH MUN for all.
KISHMUN presents an opportunity for all of you to develop important leadership and communication skills that will serve you well throughout your academic and professional careers. I have no doubt that your participation in this conference will be a valuable and rewarding experience that will leave a lasting impact on your personal and intellectual growth.
